Early Child hood:
There wasn't not much of a childhood
for Dean after the night his mother died, November 2, 1983. He was
only four years old that faithful night and didn't know what was happening.
He only knew that he had to follow his father's orders and get Sam out of
the house and to safety. Since then he has been faithfully learning
how to hunt demons along side his father.
His most prized childhood memory comes from
when he was 6 or 7 years old. That was when his father taught him how
to shoot by using bottles on a fence as targets. His father didn't
miss a single shot.
His worse childhood memory
was when he was 10 years old and almost lost Sammy to a Shtriga while he was
suppose to be watching him.
Even though he is best
described as a ladies' man Dean was once in love with a young ladie named
Cassie Robinson, whom he met while she was a student in Athens, Ohio.
She however could not handle the truth about what Dean did for a living and
broke his heart.
Hunt related things:
When Dean
accidentally electrocuted himself, he was given only weeks to live by the
doctors. Despite this, Sam searched for a way out and took Dean to see a
faith healer. Although the faith healer was not actually one (he was
channeling a reaper), Dean was still returned to full health. He still feels
that he shouldn't have been allowed to live, as his recovery left another
man dead. A few months later, he almost died after the car crash that The
Demon caused. He was in a coma and encountered a reaper who informed him it
was his time. He refused to go, and at the last moment, John gave his life
in exchange for Dean's, yet again leaving Dean with severe feelings of
guilt.
According to police records, Dean Winchester was assumed dead due to the
shapeshifter who died while disguised as him. However, his recent arrest for
a murder (which he didn't commit) has led the police to change their
assumptions about his current status.
