- Hell House
What is a Hell
House?
Commonly called a judgment home,
a hell house is a haunted-house usually run by
Christian churches or parachurch groups. These
houses reveal the torments of Hell to the unsaved
who haven't repented of their sins. These houses
focuses on effects of sin and try to give people an
idea of what eternity will be like if you don't turn
your life over to Christ. These houses typically
feature exhibits depicting certain types of sin such
as: abortion, homosexuality, suicide, alcohol use,
drugs, adultery, pre-marital sex, occultism, and
satanic ritual abuse.
The first Hell House was created
by Jerry Falwell in the late 1970's. Since then many
pastors at local churches have put together hell
house ministries and provide the supplies to put on
their own attractions in their communities. Hell
Houses are usually performed during the Halloween
season.
- Tulpas
A tulpa is a being or object
which is created through sheer willpower alone. In
other words, tulpas are spirits that exist because
of certain beliefs among people. It's a thought or
idea in physical form. If you recall back to the
X-Files in the Arcadia episode in the 6 th season,
the president of the homeowners' association for an
exclusive community, use a tulpa to enforce the
neighborhood rules.
